I am a student who has safety and security. These words, however, are not applicable to most children in Syria. The situation that young children are confronted by are so grave that their parents do not know whether they will have food on the table, or a way to educate their children. The impact of this half decade long war between the Syrian army, rebels, and the Russian military has worsened the ability of these countries to remain stable. To nine year old Muhammed, this insecurity is fueled by the relationships he lost back home. "I couldn't go to school because of the bombardment and we were afraid of the planes. I miss my friends so much and I wish that we go back to our old school." He, along with other children in the area are getting lessons in a cave until they relocate to a safe area. Would you pledge to help children like Muhammed get an education? #PledgeForEveryChild
